For the past seven years, the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) has been funded by the Department of Education (DfE) to run Outstanding Teaching Learning and Assessment (OTLA) collaborative projects. These projects involve groups of Further Education (FE) practitioners working together to explore strategies for improving the quality of teaching and learning around a particular theme. This anthology of action research accounts contains 53 chapters written by practitioners from post-16 education settings across England, along with think-pieces from members of the ‘OTLA’ programme team.
