The main objectives of the NSA are to assess the levels of learning achievement of the students of Bangla and Mathematics for grade 3 and grade 5. It is an initiative to evaluate the outcomes of primary education in Bangladesh and draw implications for improvements in teaching and learning. A key function of this large scale national assessment programme is to provide data to inform policy and plan educational reforms to improve student achievement. This publication is the technical report on National Student Assessment conducted in grades 3 and 5 in year 2013.
