This is the technical report of National Assessment of Student Achievement (NASA) for grade 3 and grade 5 conducted by Education Review Office (ERO) in 2012. the main objectives of this assessment were to determine the learning level of grade 3 and grade 5 students in English, Mathematics and Nepali against the curricula goals, to create a reliable database on the learning level in those subjects for benchmarking in order to monitor the progress over time and to generate recommendations for policy making to improve educational quality and equity.
